We set up under adverse
conditions and in any climate, often working up to 16
hours per day. The bulk of our season runs from May to
October, with sporadic work in early spring and late
fall. In addition to tolerating a variety of weather
conditions, you need to be able to lift and carry up to
50 pounds and be able to push or pull 50 pounds daily.
Because we are a disaster response provider, employees
need to have flexible schedules. You need to be able to
be away from home for up to 45 days at a time and be
able to leave for a job within hours of being contacted.
New Hire/ Utility
Laborer
-
In this
position you will perform a variety of assigned
duties at Job Site/Mobilization to include:
preparing and serving food in mobile or camp
kitchens and facilities, dishwashing and other
assigned cleaning tasks, assisting in camp set-up
and tear down, and maintaining appropriate logs and
journals.

No prior
cooking experience is necessary, but you should have
an understanding of proper food handling and
sanitation. Plus, you should be familiar with care
and use of kitchen utensils and equipment.

You need
to be able to tolerate adverse working conditions
including extreme temperatures. You will need to be
able to carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds.
Cook
-
Prepares
and cooks food according to daily meal plan in short
order and a la carte fashion.

Prepares
and cooks all food for breakfast, lunch and dinners
including entrees, vegetables, soups, sauces,
salads, and desserts.

Operates
and oversees use of appliances including, but not
limited to slicers, ovens, broilers, fryalator,
dishwashing machinery, and other small kitchen
appliances.

Chef
-
Can
perform all the functions of a Cook.
-
The chef
is responsible for the day to day management of the
assigned camp, including menu's and supervising
cooks to ensure the camp residents needs are met at
all times while maintaining the Company’s standards.
Chef’s primary responsibility is for the provision
of excellent quality food and drinks. Must be able
to react to changing meal counts from hundreds to
thousands with little notice.

Kitchen
Supervisor
-
Coordinates, trains and oversees kitchen staff in
meal preparation and presentation from kitchen to
floor (including layout of buffets and cooking
stations); with responsibility for maintaining
quality and quantity control.

Places
orders for food from a variety of suppliers.

Budgeting
and Reporting are also primary components of the
position.

Develops
daily food preparation and production list of tasks
to be performed by kitchen staff.

Maintains
standards of sanitation, kitchen hygiene, and food
service techniques and safety.

Shower
Technician
-
Supervises establishment of shower facility.

Prepares
facility layout.

Performs
preventive maintenance of shower and equipment.

Estimates
supply requirements, requests supplies, and
supervises receipt, storage, issue of shower
supplies and equipment.

Determines requirements and adequacy of shower
activities and utilizes operational plan to meet
requirements.

Consolidates production reports and schedules.
-

Laundry
Technician
-
Supervises establishment of laundry facility.
-
Receives
bulk, individual, or organizational laundry and
reviews laundry lists for accuracy of bundle count
or contents of individual laundry bag.

Sorts and
issues cleaned laundry and equipment.

Installs,
inspects, operates, and maintains laundry trailer.

Site
Manager
-
Functions
as a first line resource in the development and
management of the Disaster Response site.
-
Participates in tactical deployment for the
operation and integration of the Disaster Response
Services.

Reports
to the Director of Operations.

Coordinates all physical equipment, inventory and
staffing needs with the Resource Center Director's
Office for Disaster Response Services.
-
Responsible for day-to-day decision making involving
over all functions of the Disaster Response Site and
management of site-specific personnel.
-
Manage
various personnel actions including; but not limited
to, hiring, orientation, performance appraisal,
disciplinary actions, transfers, promotions,
scheduled time off, staff development,
certifications/competencies, standards of practice,
safety of operations, and customer compliance.

Acts as a
managerial resource for issues within the team,
liaison for the facility, and the customer.

Advises
others on issues pertaining to adherence of Disaster
Response protocols and participation.
-
Collaboratively works with the Resource Center to
ensure skills, maintenance and credentialing
requirements of staff are met.

CDL
Driver
-
Drivers
must possess a CDL A driver's license. Tanker,
Passenger, Triples & Doubles and HazMat endorsements
are a plus.

able to pack, load, and deliver Disaster Response
equipment.

Maintenance Manager
-
In this
position you will install, maintain, and repair
machinery, equipment and physical structures at Job
Sites/Mobilization.

Duties
may include: driving equipment tractors or trucks,
cleaning and defrosting refrigerator units,
monitoring water tank, gray water, black water and
other equipment, periodically inspecting plumbing
and lighting, and assisting in camp set-up and
tear-down.

You must
have a commercial drivers license and one year of
general mechanical, electrical and equipment
maintenance experience.
