A company is not measured by what they say about themselves. They are measured by what their customers say about them. Here’s what just a few of our customers have to say…

“The Washington Incident Management Team 2 would like to thank you for the great job your catering service did for us during the Needles Fire.

Over the summer, our team has worked with many catering services that have provided meals to our firefighters and overhead staff. None has quite measured up to the service your staff has provided. The clean facilities, friendly staff and atmosphere presented were noticed by all and aided in the overall team morale.

On behalf of the entire team and the many firefighters working on the Needles Fire, we thank you for all you did to support our efforts!”

Rex Reed / Richard Andring – Incident Commanders
Needles Fire – 2003

“On behalf of the firefighters and the team on the Fischer Fire, we want to thank you and the others for the exceptional food that you provided at our camp. We can still taste the delicious Wednesday night prime rib!

You went beyond the minimum with the variety of foods served, and the hot lunches were a nice, and tasty change. Best chili we ever ate I might add. Your people always had service with a smile and were always accommodating.

Regardless of the outcomes of the fires we go to, it’s always the people we work with that makes it a positive experience. It was positive with your help. It’s the simple things that make a difference. Please pass our thanks on to all your people.”

Gary Berndt and Dave LaFave, Incident Commanders
Fischer Fire – 2004

“Many firefighters have been on the lines for many days prior to this incident. I asked the crews all the time how they felt about the meals being served. I never got one negative comment regarding the food during this incident. The Incident Commander made it a point to talk with the contractor and all of his staff to commend them on the quality of the meals served. The IC also commented on the relationship of the contractor and the team.”

Phil C. Moller – Food Unit Leader
Fischer Fire – 2004

“The complete staff was outstanding to work with. They went way out of their way to keep us, as well as many other government agencies happy. Many demands were made, they never failed to provide whatever was needed.”

Bruce Ungari – Food Unit Leader
Hurricane Katrina Jackson Support Base – 2005

“Because of their willingness to provide good service under duress (hardship – getting supplies, etc., condition of the city) they were able to make a bad situation good for everyone. I recommend them as excellent contractors to use again.”

Sylvia Ferguson – Food Unit Leader
Hurricane Katrina Jackson Support Base – 2005

“I just wanted to drop a note and thank Incident Catering Services for helping the Seattle Seahawks organization have a successful pre-season. As the Executive Chef for the Seattle Seahawks, I realized early in the year that our new and expanded facility would not be completed for the beginning of the 2008 training camp. In addition, our current facility was not large enough to be able to handle the scale at which we needed to provide food service. We needed to find a solution and fast.

After meeting with Jason at ICS, and being shown a few options of what was available for mobile kitchens, we found the perfect unit to help supplement our current facility. The kitchen was delivered clean, operational and timely as promised. In addition, their set-up into a fully operational kitchen was quick and painless. Any issues or questions that arose were quickly taken care of without any sort of hassle.

Again, thank you ICS. It was a pleasure working with your group and we look forward to future events together.”

Mac McNabb – Executive Chef
Seattle Seahawks

“As a Chef-Educator with the Inland Northwest Culinary Academy and Chef for the Seattle Seahawks, I would like to offer my thanks to Incident Catering Services for helping the Seattle Seahawks organization have a successful 2008 pre-season.

With the limited room that our Kirkland training facility had for food preparation, the additional space that the fully equipped ICS Mobile Kitchen provided was of great benefit. The clean, well lit, and well thought-out floor plan of the kitchen made our preparation efficient and helped to provide our players with the high level of meal quality and variety that they expect.

We all appreciated having the Incident Catering Service mobile kitchen on-site. Once again, thank you.”

Peter Tobin – Chef
Seattle Seahawks

“ICS staff has the attitude that we’re all in this together and are willing to do anything they could to make this operation a success all the way around. We had many occasions to request their forklift and a helper to unload truck loads of ice and water or to move pallets of those goods around. They were always timely in response and cheerful about it, no complaining heard. We would have been in a bad way without their help…

…I have been around many good food service contractors over the years either as a LSC or FDUL. The skills displayed here and the smooth operation on this incident was outstanding. The customer base here is quite different than in a fire camp. Many folks from all walks of like, not to mention all the Gov’t agencies involved. The vast majority of folks I talked with were impressed with the overall quality, quantity and customer service received.”

Robert C. Elliott – Food Unit Leader
Hurricane Katrina Jackson Support Base – 2005

“Very cooperative, professional, and very good working relationship with all Government team leaders including the Food Unit Leader. Contractor always went the extra mile to help the needs the ICP whenever asked and needed, and a sincere thanks to the Contractor for all the help and working with us as a team to support the Tornado efforts.

Great interaction and cooperation with the Contractors, especially those hired by the Gov’t for potable water and gray water services. We couldn’t ask for any better Mobile Food Services than what the caterer gave all its customer at the FEMA Greensburg Tornado. Thank you very much!

I would indeed select this contractor/managers again if given the choice. With many, many days of adverse, inclement weather which included much pounding thunder, a lot of rainfall and a tornado warning in which we all evacuated to a shelter at 1:00 am in the morning. This Mobile Catering Food Service Unit delivered the “goods” and not just meeting but exceeding with outstanding marks for all services and food catered at the incident for the military, overhead, volunteers, church groups, Salvation Army, Red Cross, etc.”

Don Zyzniewski – Food Unit Leader
Greensburg Tornado Disaster Support – 2007

“The caterer maintained consistently high quality meals throughout the incident and exceeded the contract specifications for self-serve items like extra salad toppings. Salads were freshly prepared and fresh cut fruits combined to make the salad bar far better than most. Meals were excellent!

Business relations were excellent. This incident was complex and presented many challenges from multiple spike camps to fluctuating numbers. The caterer acted effectively and efficiently in every instance. The serving line staff always had a smile for everyone coming through the line.”

Sharon Nordyke – FDUL

“ICS has provided this incident with some top quality meals Team 3 has had all season. Day after day they provide a great meal with some of the most creative prepared salads. The non-meat protein has also been really good and never repeated. Night after night I get compliments from the team and from crews what have enjoyed your meals. Great job! Your staff are always very friendly and willing to go the extra mile to serve the Fire Fighters. No matter how cold it got or how long they have worked, they are still smiling.”
